Melissa's Life (Part 1)

In a hospital of Racoon city lies two humans sitting in a waiting room. James and John Clarke were waiting to hear the good news about a new family member. "I hope it's a girl!" Exclaimed John. "I have always wanted a sister!"
"I hope so too son." Said James.
Soon the doctor came in and directed them to a room where mother and child lay. The baby had brown eyes and dark hair with tiny fingers and tiny toes. Michelle being the mother of the baby was holding the little girl in her arms as she was wrapped around a towel. The baby looked at her sibling John and her father James, she had no idea what happened. "The name we agreed on James?" Said Michelle warmly.
"Melissa Clarke.. She'll be just like you." Said James.
This was just the start of a new beginning a new life and new power.

As the years went on Melissa grew into a happy little girl growing up fast beside her big brother John and her parents. John and Melissa had a special bond playing together all the time and exploring the world around them. They got along so well and rarely ever fought, Melissa and John were truly the life of the Clarke family.

But one day the life of Melissa changed when she was out in the yard one day with her brother. Her parents sitting up on the balcony of their house. Melissa wandered over to a bush to get a ball the John kicked in. "Mel, be careful of snakes and spiders!" Yelled John.
"Yes I know John, I'll be ok." Said Melissa reaching for the ball.
She grabbed the ball and all of a sudden a shadow jumped out of the bushes and attacked Melissa. It was a massive Black Wolf with gleaming blue eyes that were almost glowing. It snarled at Melissa and John and looked down at Melissa pinning her. "John help me!!" Cried Melissa hiding her face.
John threw a rock at the wolf and hit its leg. The wolf look directly at John and forgot about Melissa and charged at John growling. Melissa got up suddenly and looked over as the wolf chased John. A rage filled in Melissa's body and her heart rate raised. Her eyes went from brown to a glowing yellow colour and Melissa cried a roar that sounded like crashing thunder. The wolf looked over at her and so did John in shock. By this time her parents had come down and were a fair distance away, they knew what was going on. With her mother being a Raikou Guardian they both knew this day would come. Melissa let loose a massive bolt of lightning to the sky and it charged back down at her and she used it against the wolf and attacked it with the lightning. The wolf yelped in pain and cried but was able to get away and it disappeared into the shadows. Melissa stopped and her eyes returned to the light brown and she cried. Her mother went over and comforted her while, her father went over to see if John was ok. Her mother knew she would become a Raikou Guardian like her and looked at James and nodded.

A few months have pasted after that incident and Michelle and James decided that Melissa shouldn't stay in Racoon City and must live in the Raikou Guardian town known as Bowen City, with her Uncle Callum and her eight year old cousin Zeke Armstrong. And Melissa being only seven years old got onto a bus saying good-bye to her family and her friends from school. She didn't understand why this all was happening and she got onto the bus and sat at the window. She looked as her family waved good-bye. Her brother being almost in tears waved at the bus left.

Melissa sat by herself for the whole bus trip not talking to anyone. When she arrived in Bowen City a man with a boy waited for her to get off the bus. The man had light brown hair and and blue eyes like her mother. The boy had blonde hair and deep blue eyes that were just like the ocean. When Melissa got off she looked up at them and  asked, "Are you Zeke and Uncle Callum?"
"Yes we are your family Melissa, welcome to Bowen City." Said Uncle Callum.
"Nice to finally meet you Melissa." Said Zeke warmly.
Melissa smiled and hugged her new family and they hugged back. Melissa's life is only just beginning...
